H&M dress, Forever 21 blazer and sweater, Coach boots
Are you guys getting sick of these boots? Blame it on the weather. They're really the best protection against 37 degrees (in Los Angeles), so I've been resorting to them at least 5 days a week. I gotta tell you, I don't know how people in cold climates do it. My hands are frozen, my lips are chapped, my car hates starting and I haven't felt the tip of my nose in about a week... wimp much? Maybe, but I don't live here to be cold. The worst part is that our windows are these slats (imagine horizontal blinds) that do the opposite of insulate. In fact, as I'm typing this, I'm wearing about 4 layers of clothes. All sexy sweatshirts and sweatpants, mind you.
Anyway, enough about this weather. Bright colors are the only way to brighten up a winter's day. See the clouds in the background there? They're gray, not colored. So, we have to wear bright hues to counteract the looming thunder and hail. It works, I swear.
Ugh, ok. I'll stop complaining and go drink wine to warm up. In the meantime, here's a happy summertime song about dandelions.
