Doves Studio and Style Wax Poetic Afternoon of Pampering

This Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending The Doves Studio in Santa Monica for a joint event between the salon and Style Wax Poetic. We got complimentary services, including blow outs, hair styles, makeup application and manicures. I personally got dolled up thanks to Christopher Dove (one of the salon owners, who did a stellar job on my hair) and Lauren (of Lauren Dee Makeup), who gave me the sexy smokey eye you see here. Food, drinks and snacks were on hand, along with the perfect mix of electro and hip-hop. Kudos to Kristen and Staci for a knock-out event! Megan and I had dinner and (more) drinks afterward, at the M Street Cafe.
