Theyskens' Theory with Rumi Neely

Bec, Rumi, me, Ari and Mel

With two new blogger friends, Rachael of Ordinarily Urbane and Chanelle of The Penelope Times

Wearing a Frenchi top, Brandy Melville shorts, Calvin Klein blazer, Aldo shoes and a random assortment of charm necklaces (BCBGeneration, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Swarovski, Flea Market Girl)

Last week, I made my way over to Theory on Melrose, despite the extra difficult day week it had been. They were having a fall collection preview party for Theyskens' Theory, hosted by none other than Miss Fashiontoast herself. Now you see why I dragged my tired butt over -- I couldn't miss my chance to meet a blogging legend and inspiration! I was the most starstruck I've ever been and I think she could tell. Oh well, it was a completely worthwhile experience! She's super mellow, nice, well-spoken and has the most unearthly, glowing skin. OK, so I'm idolizing her a bit. Can you blame me?

The collection itself was also incredible! I was personally into a little black dress with a flared waist (I don't see it on the site). I can see it out at a cocktail party or even at a friend's wedding. You can see some of the pieces on the site, here.

Many thanks to Becs of Style With Benefits for the photos!
